Finally picking up on words

Finally Grant is picking up on his Vocab and he's learning lots of words now. He can say 1 to 10 though it not very clear, he will saying No No No when he dont want. He learns new word these few days, "MINE", when i take his bear bear and he will say mine!

I hope he will learn the correct things and now he is in childcare, he will start learing other kids bad habits like winking his eyes and i really dont understand why he have to keep shouting when he talks. Talk very loud and seems like shouting always. Have to keep remind him not to shout.

Another 4 more months he will be turing 2 years. We will have a small party for him and now in childcare, they have celebrate other kids bdae and he knows the birthday song now. He even knows when to blow. He is learning too fast now.

Finally back to school

After 2 weeks of staying at home, Grant is finally back to school. With the hand foot mouth dieseas, he cant go school and i have to take leave to stay at home with him and this makes me hard to work.

Just now, he was crying when he reach the school and i know its really hard for him to go back to school after 2 weeks. Eversince he took the Cod Liver oil, he gets better and i hope he will continue going to school as normal.

Hand foot & mouth diease

Grant has not been going to school for the past 1 week and he can only return to school next week until the red spots on his hands disappear.

It all started with fever last 2 sunday. Followed by sore throat and uclers in the mouth and throat which makes him unable to drink and eat. Not even milk can be drink. He is feeling so painful and whole day no food and drinks.

Just 1 day and his tummy is gone. This makes us all heart pain to see him suffer this way. At least he is back to normal and eat as much as he wans.

16th mth soon

Last week went for his jab and might be getting fever this few days but everything seems fine now. Hope he doesn't get fever, if not I'll be getting tired soon.

He is not only big size than other baby but also learn alot faster than others. Or maybe its the normal development for this age. He imitates people alot and likes to sing and talk on his own. Sometimes i had no idea what he's talking and singing.

Though he will be going to childcare after i get a job but i should no worries about him adjusting there. Last week i brought him to the childcare and he doesn't want to leave. too many toys for him to play and he seems to like the place. Most important, he wont be alone at home anymore. Everyday at home learning nothing and play the same toy makes him and me bored too.

Soon he can play with the other peers.

Grant is very naughty

Grant is getting more and more naughty

He knows how to throw temper when I said NO! to him and forbid him to come down from his chair before he finish his food.

He climbs up the sofa to the shoe rack to get something on the rack and it's so dangerous because when there's no one behind him and when he falls, don't know what will happen to him. Looking after him is getting so tiring. It's the beginning of the 'slimming down days' where I have to chase behind him to make sure he doesn't get big hurt from falling or knocking.

Especially when he is sleepy and walks without looking up where he see the floor is full of gold. Knocking onto the door is common and cries until tired and finally sleep.

Last week he had just gave Chelsie 2 'love bites' on her hands and it's a real bite where you can see the teeth mark on the hand. That happens when he wants to sleep because he always bite his bear before sleeping. It's like a pacifier to him and that calms him down.

I wonder if he were to go childcare, will he bully the kids there?

Sometimes I wonder had I really expect alot from a child up-bringing. I really want him to be a better person and won't want to pamper him nor hold him too tight. It's hard to teach a child where kite flying theory apply.

Give and Take. Easier said than done.

Chelsie and Grant

with the returns of Chelsie.. grant has become more active and sensible in the sense that when he knows im angry and still carry on what he's doing

he enjoy the time with chelsie and they both love to hug and kiss each other

but everytime hugging ends up with a fall

thats the funny part of hugging each other

grant enjoy playing and following chelsie and with each other company, they are always sweating and sticky cos with all the running and chasing

but chelsie is going back soon and next year when she return, hopefully both still remember each other

High fever

Grant had high fever at 39.5 degree clesius last monday and went to hospital for doc and doc said have to insert a medicine into his butt cos his temperature is over 39

when the fever subsided, hayfever came
whole body full of red dots and taking the medicine makes him sleepy and restless
he is suffering so much

whole week no appetite and has slim down alot
hope he doesnt suffer anymore

1st bdae

Suppose to have this on his lunar birthday but have forgotten so we do it on his birth day

Grant has walked

He has let go his hand and walk on last Sunday at the chalet
all along he is holding on something to walk and that day he walk himself

now he everyday practise walking on his own and though he don't like to wear shoe to walk but soon he will cos when we bring him downstairs for a walk, he will eventually wear it

we are so happy to see him walk on his own
tomorrow is his birthday and when baby turns 1, they are more sensible

Grant becoming 1 year soon

Grant is becoming 1year old soon
in just 1 week

now he has learn to walk around the bed with the support of the frame and sometimes even use run when we chase him but he still have no courage to walk on his on

he is getting very naughty too and getting pampered by everyone when he cries, someone will definitely carry him but not me

this makes me hard to look after him
too much pampering means hard work for me
but then, whats the use when they don't understand and still insist on their way

now he knows how to climb just outside his cot but not too high cos he's scare too
too many things to teach and without proper teaching, all become useless and learn the wrong things

this weekend, we'll be having a celebration for his 1st bdae at the chalet
3 days of celebration but its just a gathering for wee and his friends and on sun will be mine side
