Viral infection

Grant been down with viral infection on the day before
he has high fever and diarrhea until now
that night when his temperature reach 39 degrees, we rush him down to KK and doctor said its nothing serious but have to watch his hygiene

maybe these few days we keep going out and he has catch the virus which caused his stomach upset and diarrhea almost every hour until his bottom all red and he is so scare when changing pampers

he keep crying when we want to change and dont want to lay down and keep gripping us very tight when we put him down

he is really scare and he dont dare to sit down
even when we carry him and we cannot sit too
the moment we sit, he cried

we didnt get any sleep for 2days and i really hope he can get well soon so that he can sleep on his own bed

6 teeth

I am growing my 6th tooth now

my gums is so itchy and i need to bite things to ease the pain and itch

i bite on anything

clothes, bear, toys, remote control, walker, pram, handkerchief and even papa & mama hands

i want to bite!!!

9 months

5th month

Grant is 5th month now and he has learn alot of things lately

he is turning more faster

walking more with his walker

learning to eat with spoon more smoothly

with proper routine, he poo poo every morn

drink more water

knows how to hold the bottle to drink

hold things more firmly

know how to look into mirror for his reflection

knows how to shout and laugh loudly

he is learning fast but then

he still dont know how to crawl infront

he only know how to crawl backwards

he has maintain his weight and is still 8.4kg this month

his height is at 65cm

but he is still almost overweight

1st trip

Grant 1st trip is to Redang where every year we will be back to enjoy the sun and sea
he is happy this trip and very tired
early morn wake up and have breakfast with us and when they went snorkelling, he sleep again

everyone see him wants to carry him
he is so loveable
before anyone see me, they see him 1st
getting attention everywhere he goes

with his little cap, he looks so cute

he loves to put on his comfy cap and especially when its cold in the morn and on the coach

he loves his jacket which i bought for him cos in the coach, he felt so cold and when he put on the jacket, he sleep so soundly

L size baby

Grant is a L size baby
now he is using L size diapers and wears 6months clothes though he is only 4months now

most of the clothes he wear for few times have to keep cos he cant wear it anymore
i have to buy more clothes for him now and pants cos his legs is too fat to fit into those old ones

yesterday bought a jacket for redang trip and had bought a 12-18mths
its still abit big for him but 2 more months and he can fit into it perfectly

4th month (2)

Eversince grant knows how to overturn, he keep turning and now he can turn 1 round with his back up

today he show me how he turn 360 degrees
surprisingly his arm is getting much more stronger

today he can walk alot in his walker too
he walk from outside to the room and still can u-turn when i went toilet

giving him freedom to go anywhere really helps him in learning more than carrying him in arms

4th month

Grant has learned to turn over and its really hard to keep him lay flat when place him down on the bed cos he will keep wanting to turn over

even when he has finish drinking milk, he will want to turn over everytime
changing pampers too
he is getting too active now

keep turning and tossing and especially shouting
i wonder if he still having colic at night in his 4th month

before sleeping, he always want to shout for fun
laying on his own he also want to shout
shouting for attention?
or shouting for sleeping time?

today just went for another jab at the polyclinic
nurse said he is going to be obese soon but we cant do anything except to let him grow healthy
being obese is not a big problem cos he is L size baby
when he is 1 years old, his fats will slowly go off when he become more active

5 in 1 (2nd jab)

Went to bt batok polyclinic for another jab and this time, was much faster
didnt cried too much but seem tired after injection

told doctor that the right eye is swollen and it has been for 2 months
doctor said nothing wrong and refer to specialist in KK
after the redang trip, go for check up at KK to make sure nothing is wrong with the eye

3rd month

I have taken the 5 in 1 jab and mama is so scare i get fever after the jab and straight after drinking milk, she feed me the medicine to subside the fever

though i didnt get fever but im having cough and flu

haiz... dunno wat happen to me

weather isnt that good lately

now im 7.4kg and 62cm tall

mama said im too heavy for her to use the carrier cos whenever she uses that to carry me, her shoulder will be very pain and its not good for the back too

maybe i should have drink less milk so that i wont be too heavy for mama

I'm sick

Down with flu and cough makes me cant sleep well

mama have to use the nose drop to clear the mucus for me and when my flu is getting worse, we went to the private pediatrician to see Dr. Dorothy

she said i have mild throat infection and have to drink medicine

also have to use a stronger nose drop to unblock my nose so that i can breathe and sleep well

now im getting better but still abit of nose blocked which mama has to use nose drop to help me breathe well

when im sick, mama has to take care of me and feed me with water which i dun really like to drink but mama say i have to drink cos im drinking formula and tends to have consitpation and heaty

now im learning to stand with papa help and im curious with my surrounding

i hope to get well soon so that i can play more with papa and mama

Papa is not around

Papa has gone to redang for diving and will be back after 5days later

but mama is still around to take care of me

i know its hard for mama to take care of me cos i have nose block for few weeks and had difficulty breathing

somemore weather is so hot and hardly can sleep well in the night too

but what can i do? im just a baby

1st month

The day before, ah ma weigh me and now im 4.9kg and 56cm tall

mama say im growing too fast cos in a month, i have gain 1.5kg and even doctor said im well-fed

im drinking too much but i cant control cos i get hungry easily and i dunno why

anyway, last sat, many people came for my full month celebration and i was damn tired that day cos so many people keep carrying me

now im learning to strengthen my neck muscle and trying to control how to use my neck

now at least i can hold my head up for awhile and look around

im also learning to strengthen my leg muscle and keep kicking and trying to stand abit when papa carry me

there's still many things for me to learn and im looking forward

i have arrived on 12 Mar 2008 and now im 3 weeks old

next week, papa & mama will hold a full month celebration for me at grandparents house at hougang

they will be inviting alot of relatives and friends to come over for the buffet

39 weeks

Yesterday mama went to hospital for my heart beat observation and everything is fine

papa & mama can hear my heart beat and mama have to press the timer for each movement i move and during this hour, i have moved many times

mama lay on the bed for an hour for the test and its suppose to be 45 mins but the paper jam and till the nurse came and then they realised that they have waste the time waiting

now mama fluid retention is slowly decrease and its a sign that im coming out soon

yesterday mama weight has decrease by 1kg and legs aint that swollen anymore

doc said im 3.1kg now and will be out anytime

everyone is waiting for me to come out and i also dunno when i'll be out but i hope soon cos i cant wait to see papa & mama

38 weeks

Doc said i might be out anytime from now

mama has prepared the things to go to hospital for my arrival

the date is getting nearer and each day papa is waiting for me to arrive too

he is more nervous than mama

for now, await my arrival

37 weeks

Yesterday mama went for check up and see me thru the scan

i am getting lesser space now and move alot to get more space

doc said i will be out anytime from now and mama & papa have to prepare things for everything

things to bring to hospital, things for my arrival, things to bring over to grandma place...

mama wish i can come out soon cos im making her tummy very itchy and have left many stretch marks on her body now

making her leg swollen like pig and making her weight up to 80kg now

but mama will forgive me cos im her precious baby

36 weeks

This is my head and it seem pretty big now

Im 2.4kg this week and mummy have gain 0.8kg over the last 10days

I will be coming out in less than a month and everyone is waiting for my arrival

Im getting excited too and each day, i have lesser space in the tummy cos im growing bigger and bigger now

i have to kick mummy tummy to get more space and mummy is feeling uneasy sometimes when i kicked too hard

Im getting hip cup more often now and sometimes twice a day and i dunno why i get hip-cup in the fluid

for now, i need to go sleep and get more rest

35 weeks

Now im 35 weeks in mummy tummy and coming out soon in 5 more weeks

Dr Wong said I might be out in early March and that's one more month to go before I can see this world

I'm getting excited to come out and now in mummy tummy, I have limited space to move around and I cant stretch my legs

I am kicking mummy tummy everyday to get more space as I'm growing and this last month im growing at a fast pace where my fats are growing and my lungs are developing

CNY is coming and mummy is eating more so that I can enjoy the CNY food too

but mummy, dont eat much if not I will be a L size baby when I'm out
